Bradford Animation Festival 2012 is 3-2-1 GO!

By |

312 days ago we bid farewell to the 18th edition of BAF 2011. Over 5 days we delved into the worlds of gaming and animation, we laughed, we cried, we ooh-ed, we aah-ed, we deliberated, we debated, we met friends old and new in BAFter Hours and we gave out some pretty coveted awards and then it all came to an end.

We retired to our day jobs and took some time to reflect. No sooner were we refreshed, than we started hatching plans for BAF 2012 and just over 300 days later here we are with another fabulous programme to satisfy all your animation and gaming desires.

This year’s festival runs from 13 – 17 November 2012 and we are delighted to present a programme so varied yet so complementary that you’ll start to think of us as the variety pack of all festivals. A bit of something for everybody!

The whole programme is online now for your viewing and booking pleasure but here’s a quick A-Z lowdown to whet your appetite in the meantime:

Aardman Animations, Bethesda, Contacts, Digital Worlds, Evening Events, Faceware, Game City Nights, John Halas, Industry Insights, Chuck Jones, BAF Kids, LAIKA, Rob Morgan, Nyamyam, Osgood, ParaNorman, Joanna Quinn, Receptions, Student Films, TT Games, Urban Environments, Valve, Workshops, Xenogamy, Young Animators, Tomek Zawada.

Tickets are on sale now, with early bird rates available until 19th October. Book your tickets now to avoid disappointment.

Now, if you’re confused about exactly which events you want to see or how you can fit everything in then fear not as our lovely Film Sales Executive Jeni is on hand to answer your queries. Give her a call on 01274 203442 and she will guide you through.

Over the next 55 days we’ll be working away like the little worker bees that we are to ensure that all the films and guests arrive on BAF shores in time for your arrival at the festival.

We’ll also be regularly updating you with all of our endeavours, so don’t forget to follow us online for exclusive festival insights and updates as well as details of how much coffee we’ve consumed and donuts we’ve eaten to bring you this 19th edition (can you believe it!?) of BAF!

See you at the festival!
