Between 3–7 December 2018, we—along with more than 350 National Lottery-funded heritage attractions across the UK—will be putting on a special activity for National Lottery ticket holders. It’s our way of saying ‘thank you’ for helping fund objects, exhibitions and galleries.
We’ll be offering the chance to book a free tour of the National Science and Media Museum’s archive, run by a member of our collections team, as well as a free ticket to an IMAX 3D 45-minute film.
The National Science and Media Museum is part of the Science Museum Group, which since 1995 has received more than £65m in funding from Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF).

The offer closes on Friday 30 November 2018 at 17.00 (GMT).
Geoff Belknap, our Head Curator and one of the tour guides for the week, gives us a glimpse of what you can expect from an insider tour of the museum:
‘I look forward to sharing a few of my favourite things in the museum, such as some of the earliest photographs in existence, and Victorian-era technology which has shaped the way we record and share images of the world around us.’

Supporting the National Science and Media Museum
Across the Science Museum Group, HLF has helped fund galleries, support exhibitions and acquire objects. Without the help of National Lottery players and HLF we would not have been able to tell stories about how image and sound technologies have transformed how we see the world, helping to inspire future generations for many years to come. Thank you for your support.
