We did things a bit differently for opening night this year: black tie was out, tea dresses and cardigans were in.
Cue some fancy footwork from a troupe of tap dancers, donuts and coffee at our own Suicide Prevention Centre, courtesy of Hyde Park Picture House, and pint after pint of Black Sheep beer (okay, so that was off the theme, but delicious nevertheless).
The night’s entertainment was inspired by Damsels in Distress, our opening film. Unfortunately, the film’s director, Whit Stillman, couldn’t be with us… but he did record this special message.
